What’s blooming in the greenhouse – June 3

The awesomely coconut-smelling Maxillaria tenuifolia!  We have several of these, and they have all been heavily in bloom for over a month now (they’re actually starting to go out of bloom).  The entire greenhouse smells delicious, and you can even smell their fragrance outside the greenhouse vents.

A couple of gorgeous epiphyllum cactus blooms.  These flowers are the size of my hand!

An oncidium hybrid.  I don’t know exactly what this is, but I got this beast of a plant for $6 a couple of years ago, and it blooms reliably every spring.  It has at least a dozen spikes right now, and the plant itself weighs probably 30 pounds.
